This Billet Aluminum Spent Primer Chute is for the Dillon Precision RL-550 progressive reloading press Without a case feeder.
Funnel your spent primers into a larger container under your bench and save them for recycle (primers are brass). Less interruptions while reloading because you won't need to empty the little bin that comes with the press.
Replaces the back screw of the primer assembly with the 550 Spent Primer Chute and the included longer screw. Tubing not included but available for order.
For use with the Dillon RL-550c without a case feeder (not compatible with all older versions)

To install, first snug the front primer assembly screw that is accessible under the press. This will prevent reduce the need to realign the primer system after installing the spent chute. Remove the rear screw for the primer assembly. Install the spent primer chute with the included screw in place of the rear screw. Do not tighten the screw yet, just snug it a little. Actuate the press ram by moving the lever all the way down and back up. The Spent chute should just clear the lever arms and not rub. Once it is positioned correctly, tighten the screw. Check alignment of the primer assembly and check the front screw tightness again. Install your 1/2" I.D. tube and route it to your collection bottle or can.

Other versions are available for other presses.

Tubing is sold separately, click HERE to add to your order. Spent Primer Chute Tubing is sold by the foot. The 5/16"ID (9/16"OD) size fits snugly on spent primer chutes without the need for hose clamps. Order the number of feet (12") you need. If you need 4 feet (48") order quantity of 4.

CNC made in the USA from billet 6061 aluminum. Anodized colors add durability, improve finish, and increase cost. Raw finish is unpolished and straight off the machine (will have machining tool marks).
