You can now use your Dillon manual primer tubes with the Dillon RF-100 automatic primer tube filler. Changing the OEM RF-100 Bushing to this Tube Adapter by EntirelyCrimson. Use a 1/8" ball end hex key (not included) to remove the OEM bushing by removing the retaining screw. Insert the EntirelyCrimson Adapter into the RF-100 where the OEM bushing was and reinstall the screw to holds the adapter. Do not overtighten the screw, it just needs to be snug enough to hold it in place. Overtightening can damage the adapter.
Large Primer Adapters are White
Small Primer Adapters are Black
Prepare your manual tubes: Remove the manual pickup end from the tubes and they are ready to use. The plastic drop end with clip must be used to fit the base of the RF100 and be long enough to fit the adapter. These adapters are precision CNC Machined from Delrin for durability. Dillon manual primer tubes are 12.125" +/- 0.05" long (the metal portion without the plastic ends). RF-100 Adapters are Not compatible with Hornady primer tubes.
Tips and troubleshooting: Ensure there is no powder, oil, or other debris in the RF or adapter tube. Any debris may cause feeding issues, CLEAN the adapters and your RF-100. Level the RF, the rubber feet may not be actually level even if your bench is. Use a piece of paper (folded a few times as needed) move it under each of the corners of the RF to see if it feeds better. Adjust the vibration intensity to a medium-ish range. Too intense will cause primers to stall at the adapter. Not enough vibration will slow or prevent primer feeding to the adapter. Once the vibration is adjusted correctly it should be very obvious. The vibration intensity for manual tubes is often different from RF tubes. Do not overtighten or modify the adapters in any way, this will not be covered by any warranty.
CNC made in the USA from billet Delrin.
* Adapters are not recommended for older RF machines without the adjustable vibration intensity.
