Billet aluminum case ejector for the Dillon XL-750 or XL-650. This replaces the wire ejector to improve case ejection. Installs over the case plate retaining bolt and attaches with an included set screw.
This version is case plates WITH a bearing mod upgrade. Bearing is not included. The version for those without a case plate bearing upgrade is also available. Using the wrong ejector can cause binding.
For proper alignment and to prevent rotation, ensure the brass tip locking set screw for the case plate shoulder bolt is tight before installing the case ejector. Ensure you have the shell plate bolt adjusted properly for the case plate to rotate freely before installing the ejector. Place the case ejector on the top of the case plate shoulder bolt and tighten the locking set screw in the side of the ejector. Both locking set screws need to be tight. If the ejector is rotating when it shouldn't, it is because of one or more of three things: improper adjustment of the case plate shoulder bolt, improper tightness of the brass tip locking set screw for the case plate shoulder bolt. or improper tightness of the locking set screw in the case ejector. Occasionally, the Dillon shoulder bolt does not have adequate knurling to prevent rotation and they need to be replaced.
CNC made in the USA from billet 6061 aluminum. Anodized colors add durability, improve finish, and increase cost. Raw finish is unpolished and straight off the machine (will have machining tool marks).
