Quick and tool-less removal and installation of Dillon Powder Check Alarm.
Works with most dies, however the powder alarm may not fit next to some oversized dies having larger seating adjusters.
The quick disconnect feature allows the powder alarm to rotate slightly unlike the original clamp. This is intended and does not affect function or accuracy. It will self center with actuation.
Includes Quick Disconnect, Screw, and Spring.
Installation: Remove the original retaining bracket and screw, they will not be used. Install the spring over the screw and insert the spring and screw into the quick disconnect. Align quick disconnect into the powder alarm where the retaining bracket was. Tighten the screw but stop before the screw starts to come thru the back side, the head of the screw will be proud of the quick disconnect. The head sticks out so you can press against the screw with your thumb and pull the quick disconnect with fingers and install/remove the powder alarm with one hand. If the powder alarm does not install smoothly, check to make sure the screw is not installed too deep and interfering with the die body.
CNC made in the USA from billet 6061 aluminum. Anodized colors add durability, improve finish, and increase cost. Raw finish is unpolished and straight off the machine (will have machining tool marks).
